• Hair Removal

  • The spectrum is ideal for laser hair removal featuring a large spot size with built-in contact cooling. This eliminates unwanted hair in both small and large areas of the body. The laser is designed to destroy hair follicles to permanently disable them from future hair growth. 

  • Patients notice their unwanted hair begins to thin out after the first treatment session. However, a series of 5-10 sessions spaced weeks apart is recommended for optimal results. 

• Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)

  • The IPL has four settings that technicians can utilize for various non-abrasive procedures, including acne reduction, vascular and pigmented lesions removal, and hair reduction. 

  • The IPL minimizes the appearance of age spots and sun damage by emitting laser wavelengths, although it is not technically a laser. 

  • The IPL treatment is gentle and non-ablative, it is rather relaxing. The efficacy of the treatment reveals healthier and younger-looking skin.   

• Skin resurfacing 

  • Erbium Yag is a skin resurfacing treatment for the face, neck, chest, and hands to eliminate surface pigmentation and minimize fine lines and wrinkles. This treatment requires minimal downtime but helps patients achieve significant results. 

  • Laser skin resurfacing is an effective treatment for reducing and removing wrinkles, scars, pigmentation, and other skin imperfections. 

• Vascular reduction 

  • The long-pulsed laser reduces spider veins and vascular lesions, commonly known as spider veins. It does this by using energy to heat, damage, and collapse targeted blood vessels. Spider veins may be caused by sun damage, hormonal changes, pregnancy, and aging. Those who sit or stand for extended periods of time may also experience this issue. 

  • The handpiece matches the laser wavelength to the hemoglobin color in areas with unwanted spider veins and discharges long pulses to heat the veins and cause them to close off. Additionally, it can also address varying vascular lesions. This treatment is designed for smaller veins of 3mm or less. It can treat colored veins but is most effective for treating red veins leaving a smoother and more youthful appearance. 

  • It takes 3-5 sessions for the veins to disappear for blue, purple, and darker-colored veins. 

• Tattoo removal 

  • The spectrum includes a laser tattoo removal laser device that uses dual wavelengths to remove a vast range of tattoo pigments. This is ideal for those who wish to have tattoos removed for varied reasons. It works by breaking tattoo pigments into minuscule particles to be removed through the body’s natural filtering system. The number of treatments to achieve results depends on the extent of the patient’s tattoo.

The spectrum laser treatments are minimally invasive and results can be immediate. After the first treatment, patients report noticeable improvements. Desired results may be achieved within 2-4 weeks or after the 4th treatment session. Improvements are refined within weeks following the treatment cycle.

Spectrum laser procedures have minimal downtime and few side effects. Some patients may experience swelling or slight skin irritation. Avoiding sunlight exposure both before and after the treatment is highly advised.
