Microneedling is a procedure that uses small needles (typically 0.20mm to 0.75mm) to puncture the skin’s outer layer. This procedure helps generate new collagen and skin tissue, leading to firmer, more toned skin.

Aquagold Fine Touch, on the other hand, is a complete upgrade to traditional microneedling procedures, dermal fillers, and injections. It is the first of its kind.

With Aquagold Fine Touch, the microneedles are replaced with microscopic, hollow needles called “microchannels” through which a special serum is injected.

Fundamentally, Aquagold Fine Tough is a microneedling procedure with far greater benefits due to its ability to inject healing agents directly into the skin.

Aquagold Fine Touch works by delivering 1,200 to 2,000 microinjections per minute. This is done using the 20 microchannels featured on the device.

Each microchannel, thinner than human hair, is made of pure gold-plated surgical-grade stainless steel.

Because of how thin and smooth each microchannel is, there is essentially zero pain involved in the procedure.

The microinjections include a special serum made of hyaluronic acid, which helps the skin retain water to keep it nice and moist, and micro-Botox, which relaxes pores and eliminates fine lines and wrinkles. Other vitamins may be added to the solution depending on the patient’s needs.

After the treatment, the skin should look fresh, delicate, poreless, and lifted.

Aquagold is pain-free. The microinjections have been described as painless pinches. Patients with sensitive skin may feel a slightly ticklish sensation in places like the neck. There will also be some redness during the procedure, but that lasts about 15 to 20 minutes, depending on the individual’s skin.

Typically, you’ll be able to see results in about 3 to 7 days after the treatment. This will last about 3 to 4 months.

You can typically have the treatment as often as every 1 to 3 months. It’s generally better to have the treatment several times a year to improve the skin’s overall appearance.

There isn’t much downtime–all you need to do is let the serum soak in. After the procedure, the serum needs to stay on the skin for at least 5 hours. If your procedure is in the evening, it’s generally a good idea to leave the serum on while you sleep and wash your face the following morning.
